Make sure your car is free of snow before driving: clear the roof, wheel wells and under the bumper. This is not only safer, but decreases aerodynamic drag and prevents rolling resistance that adds up fuel use.

Winter Driving Tips
A sharp drop in temperature can cause tire pressure to decrease. Each tire that is under–inflated by 2 psi (14 kPa) causes a one-percent increase in fuel consumption. As winter approaches, remember to check your tire pressure frequently!
